Product Description

NOX2/Gp91(phox) KO Mouse Primary Embryonic Fibroblasts fromCell Biologicsare isolated from embryonic tissue of pathogen-free laboratory mice. Cells are grown in T75 tissue culture flasks pre-coated with gelatin-based coating solution for 2 min and incubated inCell BiologicsCulture Complete Growth Medium generally for 3-7 days. Cultures are then expanded.Prior to shipping, cells are detached from flasks and immediately cryo-preserved in vials. Each vial contains at least 1x10⁶cells per ml and is delivered frozen.

Product Testing

NOX2/Gp91(phox)KOMouse Primary Embryonic Fibroblasts are tested for expression of marker using the antibody of anti-FSP1/S100A4 (Millipore USA) by immunofluorescence staining. Cells are negative for bacteria, yeast, fungi, and mycoplasma. Cells can be expanded for 3-5 passages at a split ratio of 1:2 under the cell culture conditions specified byCell Biologics.Repeated freezing and thawing of cells is not recommended.

Laboratory Applications

NOX2/Gp91(phox)KO Mouse Primary Embryonic Fibroblasts can be used in assays of standard biochemical procedures performed with cell cultures include RT-PCR, Western blotting, immunoprecipitation, immunofluorescent flow cytometry, or generating cell derivatives for desired research applications.
