Description
TheConditionedMediumforHumanESC/iPSCCultureisacompletemediumdesignedforthecultureofhumanembryonicstemcellsandinducedpluripotentstemcells.MediumcontainsgrowthfactorsandextracellularmatrixproteinssecretedbyMEFfeedercells.HumanESandiPScellsmaintainpluripotencywhencultureinfeederconditionsusingthismedium.Itwastestedandoptimizedwithhumanembryonicstemcell(ESC)andinducedpluripotentstemcell(iPSC)growthandproliferationinvitroconditionedwithmouseembryonicfibroblast(MEF)cells.Itisformulatedforusewith5%CO2and95%airinahumidifiedincubator.Themediumconsistsof500mlofbasalmedium(containingessentialandnon-essentialaminoacids,vitamins,organicandinorganiccompounds,hormones,growthfactors,traceminerals),supplementedwithcellgrowthsupplement,antibiotics,andfetalbovineserum.15%FetalBovineSerum(germlinetransmission-tested)containsinthemedium.
